My girls are really the best! I have the privilege to submit my work for the Epiphany Crafts design team call and this is one of my submissions. The clear 14 bubble epoxy’s are so versatile and easy to incorporate to any scrapbook page. This time around I used Imaginisce , Summer Cool collection. I love the colors and thought it was perfect for these photos. I turned them sepia and increased the red just a bit.
HELLO Card
One of my favorite lines of scrapbook paper – My Minds Eye (MME). I was fortunate enough to earn the Miss Caroline collection at Scrapbook Expo and I absolutely LOVE this paper. This cute little card came together very quickly using my Silhouette Cameo. For the 3-dimensional flower I rolled the petals around my stylus to get some extra dimension.
Valentine’s Day
I do this every year. Every year I make Valentine’s for my girls to hand out to their friends at school. I tell myself very year I am going to get them done early. This year was like all the rest….and I wouldn’t have had it any other way.
I found these adorable love birds brush set for PS, they were perfect for my book marks. The cards are 3.5″ x 5″, created in PSE 10. I used jumbo paper clips for the book marks and used the print and cut feature in my Silhouette Cameo. There is a small piece of foam between the two layers to give it some padding.
The girls loved the book marks. I told them they were extra special this year because I had help putting them together. This year daddy stayed up and helped. It was worth the 1:30am finish time having him as my assistant.
Super Bowl!!
I have been a die hard “9er” fan for as long as I can remember. My first football game was to a 49er game at Candlestick park, I met Ronnie Lott when I was a kid and luckily for my husband I enjoy a great football game. The Super Bowl is a National Holiday in our home with friends, family and tons of food.
This year is a little different! My team, the SF 49ers made it to the Super Bowl. As the game approached last week my mind raced on how I can support my team in hopes they take down the ATL and make it to the big game – as they did. I’ve been dabbling in jewelry making, by no means am I an expert but it sure is fun. I wanted to use my Epiphany Crafts charms but they did not really match with the team colors being red and gold. Then I had an “epiphany” (LOL) I can still use my bubble caps without the charms. They worked perfect! I did not like the backs of the charms unfinished, luckily for me I found Glitter Tape from Bazzill. This stuff is awesome, it comes in all kinds of colors and was perfect for finishing the back of my charms.
I’ve completed two bracelets and one pair of earrings…I have to admit, I think I may be addicted….like I need another hobby! I am pretty darn proud of these babies!
New Year’s Baby Shower
My sister’s sister-in-law asked for my help in celebrating the arrival of her new baby boy this January. She wanted to do a New Year theme shower and I think this card says it all!
A2 card was cut with my Silhouette Cameo, card base is from Lori Whitlock, LOVE her designs! I modified the New Years Celebration cut file from Silhouette Online Store to get a solid top hat and the baby image was a file I found on line – using the awesome Print n’ Cut feature on my Cameo. And last, you can’t have a card without bling! I found a small bag of bling at Joann’s.
